Télécom Debating Society
Presentation of the club
The Télécom Debating Society is a club registered with the BDE (Student Union) of our institution, Télécom ParisTech. Within the club, we mainly debate in British Parliamentary Style, but we enjoy French Debating Association style as well.
Thanks to the financial support from the BDE, the Society enables its members to take part in various European intervarsities debate competitions. Moreover, since 2004 we have participated in every tournament of the French Debating Association, which is a tournament opposing parisian "Grandes Écoles" and some universities every year. Télécom ParisTech won the tournament in 2011. To finish with, the school hosts the Paris Open, co-organised with other societies of UDP.
